If you are anything like me, there is always something to be done. I am in the process of de-cluttering because I don’t want to pick up five things in a cupboard just to get to the one thing I am looking for.

There are lots of resources to help us get rid of our unwanted items from Freecycle, Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace and Ebay to name but a few. I’ve chosen to highlight ThriftPlus; I always have clothes that I want to get rid of. In the past I’ve used a lot of different channels to sell off unwanted clothes – Ebay, Vestiaire Collective and Vinted app to name but a few. I’ve decided to make my life much simpler and also give back to a charitable cause at the same time.

ThriftPlus has been featured on UK’s Dragon’s Den, the beauty of signing up to ThriftPlus is that life is made much simpler for me. I click donate, I get an envelope bag mailed through my letterbox, I fill it up with my unwanted items. I then have the option to drop it off at my local CollectPlus or have a scheduled pick-up with DHL, really easy. I can then choose a charity that I want to donate a portion of any profit made. Yes, I am getting less money than if I’d just listed myself on Ebay or one of the other channels, but I also don’t have the headache of slowly emptying my wardrobe item by item and I am giving something back to a charity of my choice.

Not only are you giving to a charity of your choice, but if your item does sell then you also have the option of converting your rewards to high street vouchers such as evouchers.

Why not check it out for yourself… THRIFTPLUS
