Lazy Day in Lyndhurst

Whilst visiting the New Forest, I stayed in Lyndhurst for a few days. This small town is one of the busiest in the New Forest, despite the fact that it doesn’t have it’s own train station. Although easy access by taxi from Ashurst and Brockenhurst stations if you happen to not be travelling by car.

I ate at a few restaurants in the town – Chinese, Pubs, Thai, British Fayre and one of the small bakeries. My favourite stop was the tea shop on the corner, with the vast array of fresh herbal teas I found it very difficult to choose and did purchase a few extra packets to take home with me due to being so spoilt for choice.

I stopped for lunch on a rare quiet day and had a lovely presented Tuna salad with my herbal tea.
