Donate old towels and bed linen to charitable causes

Don’t throw your old towels in the trash, adding to the landfill problem. Many charity shops won’t take used bed linen or old towels due to hygiene reasons. Make an effort to re-use them either keep them for cleaning your floors or contact your nearest Veterinary Surgery, Animal Hospital or Rescue, as they are usually in need of bedding which they use for to line animal beds or surgery.

Make sure that the items are machine washable when donating, as they usually don’t accept items that can’t be placed in a washing machine.
